About Waterval

Namakwaland · West Coast · Northern Cape

    Our Story

The coastal section of Waterval extends from the mouth of Ruitersvlei to Skulpbank. The farm is located in the Northern Cape, and the name 'Waterval' originates from a small waterfall further up the river near the farmstead.

Sheep farming is the main activity on the land, but the family's love for the area led to the registration of the camping area and eventually its designation as a conservation area.
